christmas in Melbourne

it's our first christmas here in Melbourne (last year we were in Sydney, remember?) and it's Lori's first christmas! Tonton and I are doing everything to make our celebration with
Lori worthwhile and fun (well, despite of being away from our family in Manila).

last Friday, we had a photo session in Myer's Santaland. Lori cooperated very well that's why we have this lovely picture with Santa :)




then we went to Ikea yesterday to buy kitchen & bedroom stuff & look for Lori's new crib. today, we are preparing a simple dinner (pansit, roasted turkey breast & ice cream) and getting ready to video chat with our family via yahoo messenger.

here are some of the presents Lori received (thanks to some of our pinoy friends).


we are also preparing our budget for the boxing day on Wednesday. hmmm... i think i'm the only one who's excited about it, hehe. shopping, shopping, shopping!!!

Hi!

I was doing a search on Filipino groceries/restos in Melbourne and I chanced upon your blog. I am new-ish (arrived here last October) in Melbourne. I stay in the city and work as an SAP ABAP Consultant for a IT firm in Southbank.

Anyway, if it's all right, I'd love to meet with you guys, don't know anyone in Melbourne yet apart from some former colleagues who are temporarily based here for SAP projects.
