// morsels of life //

enjoying this so-called life -- li'l by li'l, bit by bit...

SHE's here!!!

after almost 20 hours of labor, Wynter Lorrie Morasa came out at 12:23 AM last September 23 (hmm what's with 23 kaya?).

our precious is a bouncing 6.5 lbs girl. oh so gorgeous, everything was all worth it.
i am still in the stage of recovery yet enjoying motherhood :)

fretted me

the idea of giving birth to our first baby gives me the feeling of fulfillment. but still, the more i think about how near i am (two more weeks to go) to the reality of labour pains, the more it makes me fear the unknown. *hayyys*

papa in melbourne

my father arrived last saturday to visit and help us with my upcoming birthgiving as well.

he brought a luggage full of baby essentials (dresses, onesies, mittens, bibs, blankets, etc.).

most of the items were purchased in manila and some came from california (my niece's unused stuff).

papa's arrival was just in time for father's day so we treated him for a shopping spree and let him choose a new pair of shoes.

he'll be staying here until november and we hope that papa will enjoy his first australian holiday.
