eyeluv chloe

the paddington Chloe bag i bought via eBay arrived today.

i got this for a very, very reasonable price and i was quite lucky to deal with an ebay seller that's so assistive and reliable. i don't have any doubts that this is a very good buy. a bag like this comes with a gold padlock and key so that you could lock in your valuables. plus it's made of top quality calf leather, may tibay na maaasahan, hehe. eye soo luv it! :)

new addiction

this is what currently makes us awake (like owls) during weekend nights... the Nintendo Wii.

my husband bought this game set few weeks ago and we can't get enough of it eversince. tonton is addicted to the golf game. he even purchased the Tiger Woods PGA Tour 'cause he thinks he's a pro already (duh! hehe). i love to play the tennis, billiards and fishing games.

i never thought that a video game would give us such fun and good workout at the same time.

Wii rules! :-)

paper anniversary, picnic and spidey three

last saturday (may 5) was our first year anniversary. tonton and i are very pleased of the fact that we are enjoying our marriage even more. we're also overwhelmed by all the blessings (simple life here in melbourne, good opportunities) we have received. plus of course the best blessing of all is the coming of our first baby :)

tonton and i had a simple italian dinner last friday night at cafe coretto. we had pasta and steak while chatting about our future plans.

then the following day, we joined the ibarras in a family picnic at studley boathouse park which is just a few minutes away from the city. it was a very relaxing day and we just enjoyed the moments despite of the cold weather.

we had heaps of fun too feeding the birds and geese as our cottage was situated near the river.

and thanks to the park's hotplate grilling facility, we enjoyed our marinated american spareribs freshly barbequed. yum!!!

then after the superb lunch, we headed to the boathouse to rent a boat.

we were starting to enjoy the ride na sana and the boys (tonton & vincent) were beginning to learn manuevering the vessel correctly when suddenly, here comes the rain "threatening" us again. waahh, kainis! so we were forced to go back to the dock earlier and we were not able to sulit the supposedly 30-minute time allowed. when the rain stopped, we just decided to do photo ops along the bridge in the park.

then in the evening, we watched spider man 3 at hoyts. while waiting for the viewing time, we had coffee & hot choco break at starbucks.

mini-ME?!

i had an ultrasound session earlier in Melbourne Ultrasound for Women center. i was accompanied by my hubby and we were both excited and nervous since that was the first time to see our unborn baby. my feet were bit shaky during the first few minutes of the session. and i know tonton was more nervous than me 'cause he was not able to take his eyes off the tv screen (where the ultrasound result is being projected).

but then it was a total relief for us when the sonographer told us that everything seems normal and looking fine with our bub. and there's a big probability that it's a girl as the result does not show any "pitutoy" :)

tonton even jested that the fetus looks like "a little Annie", hehe :)

we were so amazed to watch the live heartbeat and the shots of other parts of her little body. luckily, the clinic offers a DVD copy of the session for $10 and they also provided printed copies of the clear views of the baby.

it's true what they say that an ultrasound session is a moment of mixed emotions and a good bonding time (with your partner and baby) as well.
