harry potter and the pea in the pod

watched harry potter 5 last saturday. we enjoyed it, as always.
geez! i was surprised by daniel radcliffe's strong appeal. he's a boy turning into a cute bloke! though, i noticed that there's still a child in him even he's 18 already. some of his interviews show that there's a gist of innocence within him which is i think makes him more likeable. good on ya, harry!

ok, enough of harry. let me chika naman to you the result of my second scan yesterday.
it's confirmed, we're having a girl ! hehe :)
the pea in the pod showed signs of viability and amazed us that she's a flexible li'l thing. we only had few clear shots of her profile because she was raising one of her legs during the scan. her toes were blocking her cute face almost the entire session! *sigh* maybe she knows that we are watching her, camera shy yata.

anyway, here is one of the clear shots of our little gymnast...

waaah! haanng ganda ng nose nya, buti hndi nag-mana sa'kin, haha! nice pair of lips too :)

i'll be posting the rest of her snapshots once the private gallery is up.

baby, baby, baby...

a week from now, i'll be having my second ultrasound session.
this time using the 4D technology (the previous one was just a 2D/3D) and in an imaging center which specializes on this type of scan. they also offer gender determination and appointment reschedule if the result is not clear.

we're very excited to see/watch our baby again and we really can't wait to know what's the real gender of this kid. yep, we're still not so sure if this is a girl (as what the May 2 scan result & sonographer said). that's also the reason why we don't have a final name yet for this bub (we're still calling it "bebi baby"). and it may sound funny, but i think my husband is still hoping that we're having a boy, hehe. hmm we'll see, sweetie...

in connection with this, we are having some thoughts on throwing a baby shower party after my second scan. as early as now, i've already gathered few ideas for this event and hopefully with the help of some friends & relatives, we can collect more. i'll be posting updates about the party once everything's final :)

the quest for a new phone

i used to change mobile phone unit every two months. those were the times that i was really into phone fad. but it came to a point that my obsession to techie gadgets decelerate. probably due to my busy life and change in financial needs.

anyways, to make this short, currently i am looking for a replacement for my "ancient" nokia 6230. yes, it's been so long na rin since the last time i changed my unit. i think it's time for my phone to take a long rest after 2 1/2 years of service.

well right now, i'm eyeing for a nokia n95. a friend told me that it's a nice smartphone and has good specs. i've also read the CNET's good review on this unit and it scored 7 out of 10 (not bad).

i'm also thinking about apple's iphone. it scored 8.0 in CNET.

i guess i also have to check the pricing first. i heard melbourne stores is known for selling phones on a very high price. +_+
